Against Giants Labor Advocates coordinated a visit by Representative Rob Wittman to Richmond International Airport on November 6, 2025, where he met with TSA officers to hear directly about the challenges they were facing during the government shutdown.
The visit was held in the Booty Armstrong Boardroom. Lunch was provided. All TSA employees were welcome and encouraged to attend and share their experiences with Representative Wittman directly.
The engagement gave RIC officers the opportunity to speak with their elected representative about the day-to-day reality of reporting to work without pay and the uncertainty the shutdown was creating for their families and financial stability.
