Following his visit to Norfolk International Airport two days earlier, Representative Bobby Scott traveled to Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport on November 3, 2025, to continue hearing directly from TSA officers affected by the government shutdown.
The visit was held in the PHF Airport Conference Room. Lunch was provided by Representative Scott's office. All TSA employees were encouraged to attend and share their concerns directly with their congressional representative.
Against Giants Labor Advocates coordinated the visit to ensure TSA officers at PHF had the same direct access to their elected representative that officers at Norfolk had received. The back-to-back visits reflected AG's commitment to reaching officers across multiple airports rather than limiting access to a single location.
